Encircled by the stars

Deep down, you always knew
When you first heard of me
You wanted to hear more
When you first saw me

A glimpse of me became necessary for you
When you first talked to me
My words become your favorite melody
Deep down, you always knew
That you were falling for me

CONFESSION
Lazy noon of early winter
When the sun peeked through the cloudy sky
White Porsche parked outside
As we walked out
Something pulled me back
Behind me, I saw you standing
Keys dangling on your fingers

With the clicking of the keys, something clicked in me
I heard them calling my name, waiting for me
But my body ceases to work
My mind and heart were at war
Run away a scream broke within
But with every beat, I knew it was over
The veil has been lifted
There's no running away now
The world went silent as I confessed to myself
My present may be standing outside the glass door

waiting for me to hold on to it
But my future
It was right in front of me.

NAIVE BEGINNING
I remember the scent
When you light up a cigarette
Putting it to your lips
While I’m taking a sip
You know how I feel
In the chilling breeze
A spark light up in my chest
As you held my hand
Smiling to myself
This is how it began

FAIRYTALE

The love in your eyes shines bright as you turn twice
Devouring all of her into your beating heart.
Her fingers playing with a tendril of hair
That managed to escape.

Her skin burned with the sensation of your gaze,

She smiled away.
Finding her in discomfort,
The knight within you came,
While she ached to hold you tight
In the middle of the crowd.
Catching her eye in the rearview mirror,
He realized that the princess

Not always carries a pretty hairdo but a ponytail too.

As she realized that the prince

Not always wear shining armor but a sweatshirt and jeans

Together they realized that
Fairytales do exist
