Brief Introduction of Authors Attic
The project title “Authors Attic” is a Pakistan based initiative which will focus of unravelling the hidden talents of Pakistan on a larger scale. The term “Authors Attic” is the umbrella term for all the upcoming anthologies and books published under this.
Each anthology published under this umbrella will consist of a different theme, genre, language and idea to give each and every writer of Pakistan a chance; be it a poet or a storywriter.
Similarly, each idea presented in the anthologies will be solely based on the demand of our readers and writers thus this initiative will in spirit prove to be the readers and the writers own happy place.
Through this initiative, we are planning to give each and every writer of Pakistan a chance to express themselves in their own comfortable zones without any sort of discrimination or barrier due to certain writing styles thus this platform is going to be the platform for everybody from any part of the country.
We hope this project becomes a step towards the revival of literature in Pakistan and we get to prove ourselves in the field of literature as well.

My name is Fiza Fatima Naqvi. I am an aspiring writer who with her words expresses the wonders of life and current society. My writings have a unique taste of the melancholy of life. I have always found solace since a very young age with the guidance of words to narrate my stories, observations and darkest thoughts/ desires. Words gave me power to voice out my opinions and observations. I have been always the person to speak out on societal problems as well as have fallen in love with the moon, stars, sunflowers and animals.
I am also a published Co-Author of the book "Wandering Souls" by Authors Attic with the affiliation of Daastan publication, “Mosaic, A collection of flowers” by Addicted words with the affiliation of Auraq publications and finally of “And Life It Is” by the Rising poets
I was lost in a place where light never came
Like a permanent blackout of fate
As my demons would laugh at me with a pitiful gaze
Months became years but the darkness just stayed
As my eyes now wore a veil of grief and pain
And I would just ask myself why did I become this way?
I had lost myself in a melancholy
As I found myself always in a state of dismay
And my self-inflicted wounds would make me feel like I was stuck in this never ending haze
But then life took a turn of a new change
As you came with words of hope and happiness
And I finally felt like maybe I could be saved
You heard what I had to say every word, every emotion
As I went through a cycle of sadness, grief, anger and hate
But you never called me insane
You always told me there was a way
As you were the first person to understand this cry of pain
And made a place where I felt safe to communicate
Slowly but surely my darkness started seeing the specks of light
As the colors of my eyes was more than just black and white
And I felt a wave of serenity take over my heart and mind.
I could write and write yet words still wouldn't describe how grateful I am to you
As you helped me out of my state of misery and self-hate
And you not only saved my once dying soul but also helped me find my way...

Meet Ray, she's a spectacular writer. She started writing as a kid to fight depression and to pour out her emotions into words as there was no one to listen. She has special connection with everything that's linked with dark. She enjoys writing her mind and capturing it into something beautiful.
I've locked up my feelings
In a fear of exposure
I can't open my eyes
Because I'll find you staring straight into them
You know my sensitivity
Perhaps, you feel so good
It'll cause disasters
Going to be hard to be composed
If things will take long to satisfy
I want to let you know something
Even if the whole universe will be mine
I'll still be yours
Taking the initiative is a bit over the board to me
Waiting for you to discover who you are to me
Skin ship is normal for you
But when you come close to me
My nose bleeds, I lose my consciousness
It's all natural, my thumping heart
Your slightest touch can kill me agonizingly
Just what'll happen if you'll hold me tight
I never behaved like this before
How I react to you, is perplexing
I'm eligible for you, I can guarantee that
I'll be your ally, till I crumble
Yet, I'm afraid of facing these strange arising emotions towards you
That's increasing and buring everything comes in the middle
Am unwell to be known
I can't get away
Also can't stand on the door for long
Seeing you going out with someone
Thrusts me in the darkest abyss
Which blackout my all power, swallowing me further
I'm into you so much that I've reached the Level where I find you’re spouting adorable too
I wanted to be only friends
If your charming personality, neutering nature, pretty talks, breathtaking gestures didn't divert my focus
It's toughest, an open challenge.
To pretend not to be attracted by you.
It's not my incompetence, but my affections for you
That made you win every time in an argument
Hankering to do stargazing
Went to couples Hill at midnight
Lied down on tumulus Earth
Saw illusions of different colors
Sparkling with no worries of undertakings
In one sky
All were playing with unity
Each was giving other slack
Stars were the diamonds
Making the scenery memorable
Some were big fatties
And some were little babies
Nevertheless, they were helping themselves to blink
Gems were circled by dim light of liberty
Their group work was creating the galaxies
Together they learned and taught how to shine
They are successful
After touching the height, holding hands
My Special attachment is with petrichor
That earthy smell takes you to paradise
Who doesn't like the rain?
There's may be some beings
Who are afraid of rain?
This is either because of quiver giving incidents
Or naturally by birth
As a grown up teen
I just can't stop myself from hoping in the puddles
The melodious dropping music of rain is so out of this world
Viewing the amazing scene
Fades all you loneliness and problems
Everything before and after rain makes you incapable to get rid of applauding it
It's kind of love
