About Daastan

Daastan exists because talent has never been the scarce thing in Pakistan — access has. A writer with a finished manuscript and no contacts had nowhere obvious to take it, and we set out to be that place.

We handle a book end to end: editing, cover and interior design, an ISBN from our own registered block, printing, and distribution to bookshops and online. Royalties are paid on every copy sold and tracked on a dashboard the author can open any day of the week.

A book does not end at the printer, so neither do we. Launches, literary evenings and festival appearances put our writers in front of readers, and a title stays on sale long after its publication day.

A short story with the substantial promotion of peace through dialogue. Moreover, it rightly depicts the duantless state of mind and exceptional social skills of women. Definitely worth the readers time.

The way Aziel has grown as a gentleman in this play is remarkable. The book truly says

"Learning from mistakes, dips and falls in life ultimately shapes a person's approach towards life as well as enhances his positive character traits"

It is a remarkable piece of work which explains the process of a person's growth as a man of character-yet liable to make mistakes but grow out of mistakes.
