Daastan exists because talent has never been the scarce thing in Pakistan — access has. A writer with a finished manuscript and no contacts had nowhere obvious to take it, and we set out to be that place.
We handle a book end to end: editing, cover and interior design, an ISBN from our own registered block, printing, and distribution to bookshops and online. Royalties are paid on every copy sold and tracked on a dashboard the author can open any day of the week.
A book does not end at the printer, so neither do we. Launches, literary evenings and festival appearances put our writers in front of readers, and a title stays on sale long after its publication day.
Their solid commitment to facilitate emerging writers in Pakistan is worth every ounce of praise. Immensely happy and grateful to have my first book published through this commendable publisher that is truly one-of-a-kind in the country.See the original post
A good online approach, where I could hand over my data without the fear that it would be stolen. A safe and secure platform.See the original post
Their coordination is very humble and relaxing. The quality of work really impressed me and I would highly recommend Daastan to writers and all who are linked with art or writing.See the original post

Daastan, founded on the very notion of being able to tell your stories by putting one's word out there in the world as a whole, becoming a part of this universe; materializes its principles through the journey of thousands of authors we have published. From finishing a book in a single day to becoming the author of one, she is a treasured Daastan-published author. In an interview, she revealed that her father used to write short stories for so
Sharp prose. Intriguing. Makes you think. The start with the question of 'who am I' and the build up gave me chills. Great effort on the part of the author, would definitely recommend you pick it up.
To be able to introduce so many necessary elements of depth plaguing our country in a piece so short, and being able to involve the reader with equal ferocity, is truly a sign of skill and the creative mind. Omer Malik has forced us to reconsider the perceptions of the society we live in, as well as much of our own. Brilliant read.
"An exceptional writer and brilliant storytelling! Husn-e-Yusufis not just a book; it's an ocean of emotions. If you have a taste for classic literature and profound themes, this book is a must-read."
